Mr Simon Moyes is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Wellington Hospital and a Founder Member of the Shoulder and Foot and Ankle Units. Mr Moyes pays special clinical interest to arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery for knee, shoulder, foot and ankle problems.Â
After qualifying from The Middlesex Hospital in 1982, Mr Moyes undertook his first position with top Orthopaedic Surgeon, Sir Rodney Sweetnam at his teaching hospital. Having been awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, he then commenced a surgical rotation allowing him to work and train at Queen Square amongst other London Hospitals. Following this, he commenced training to specialise as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Westminster Hospital and became a Senior Registrar.Â
Within the field of Orthopaedics, Mr Moyes pays special clinical interest to arthroscopic and minimally invasive treatment of problems of the knee, shoulder, foot and ankle.Â
Mr Moyes likes to try and offer what we call a "one stop shop" whereby we can see, X-ray/scan the patient and see the patient for a follow up and where ever possible treat appropriately at one visit under one initial consultation fee of £260.00.
