About Mr Sachin Malde

Mr Sachin Malde, Consultant Urological Surgeon, currently works at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospital, London. He also works at several private practices around London. He has a wealth of experience in the management of urological problems – prostate enlargement, bladder diseases, urinary symptoms, blood in the urine, and chronic UTIs. He is also a specialist in both male and female urinary problems, bladder cancer and neuro-urology.

He began his medical education at Guy's, King's and St Thomas's Medical Schools in London in which he graduated with a Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery. He then went on to complete his postgraduate research degree MD(res) examining post-prostatectomy incontinence at University College London. Following this, he started his Higher Specialty Training in Urology on the well-respected South Thames rotation. Afterwards, he undertook a fellowship at University College London.

He is on the panel of the European Association of Urology Guidelines for benign prostate enlargement, guiding how clinicians across the world investigate and treat prostate enlargement. He is an expert on the minimally-invasive surgery that can be performed for this condition, including new techiniques such as Aquablation. This type of surgery can preserve sexual function. He is also one of the only UK surgeons that can perform minimally invasive procedures for tibial nerve and sacral nerve stimulation for bladder issues. He also has oncological interests, especially in the management of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer and can perform blue-light cystoscopy to enable better diagnosis and treatment of these cancers. He also regularly performs outpatient laser treatments for bladder tumours.

Mr Malde has a keen interest in research with over 100 pubications in peer-reviewed journals, and several book capter. He is regulrly an invited speaker at several conferences around the world. He continues to contribute to medical education by being a tutor and examiner on several accredited national surgical courses. He is also currently a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Mr Malde is a fantastic doctor. Not only is he very professional and very experienced, he also shows a lot of empathy and knows his patients. I had not seen him for 4 years but when I came to see him with a new problem he remembered exactly who I was and for which medical issues I had consulted him in the past. I could not wish for a better and more caring doctor.

Following CES and nerve damage I met with Mr Malde on the 9th March 2026. To say i was impressed would be an understatement, he was extremely clear with me about my life moving forward and also my follow up appt with the clinic at the Shard is on the 13th March which is the fastest turnaround in care I have experienced since my emergency spinal decompression surgery in August 2025. All I can say is a big thank you from my wife and I for your professional and friendly approach and swiftness in moving forward

After constant deadends with treatment, investigations and advice from specialists, I've felt disheartened that my suffering has lasted this long. I spoke to Sachin upon recommendation from a fellow patient and could not be happier; he laid out a clear treatment pathway, was incredibly thorough and kind, and succinct in his evaluation.

I’m not sure where we go from here, I don’t know what the next move is. I have the prescription and hope it will make a difference. I will let you know and I suppose request further consultation if necessary. The conversation we had was interesting. I’m unsure about the catheter method and uromone.
