Dr Parag did a fantastic job with my meniscal rupture. I got the medial meniscal rupture in 3 pieces, and 8 weeks later I’m walking as previously and already riding a bike.
I am reknowned for my great instincts with people, and as soon as I met Parag, initially in his NHS clinic, I knew instantly he was the surgeon for me. He has a wonderful calm, calming and engaging demeanour and listens intently and fully to your issues and takes time to explain everything. Once I’d made the decision to go ahead with my hip replacement, I left my second appointment (privately at this point) with a feeling of only the utmost confidence in Parag and absolutely no fear! That is how he makes you feel, which is priceless. My hip replacement operation went very well indeed, and Parag also lengthened my leg as it was 1cm shorter than the other one, due to a childhood hip condition. Parag has a great bedside manner, he is so approachable and kind and reassuring - in fact the gold standard for a surgeon - he could give a masterclass! I have since had two outpatient follow ups, both of which were so encouraging and again, reassuring. I think reassurance is of the utmost importance, as having a new hip is momentous and you just want to always be sure you’re doing the right things and not doing anything that might impede or jeopardise full recovery. You leave Parag’s consults feeling full of confidence, and the knowledge that he’d be happy to answer any further questions.
It took alittle longer than expected for my xray so I was aliitle late for my appointment. The staff were very helpfull. The doctor explained with the aid of my previous and recent xrays and going over my previous nuclear images that my hip joint was in good condition and that I no longer need to have s 6 monthly check up giving me the email in case there is any detramentle change in the future and that I can carry on normaly without having to limit myself so much. He was extremely thorough with his explanation using the images so I could understand completely.I am very gratefull for the very good service of this department in zthe Roysl free
Mr Jaiswal is an incredibly skilled and caring surgeon. I first went to see him in faint hope rather than expectation - presenting with a malunion emergency surgery insertion of a femoral nail, following an accident in South Africa. This left me with a significant leg length discrepancy and a right leg/foot that had rotated north-east! Mr Jaiswal discussed my case in a multi-disciplinary team and I was offered revision surgery to remove the femoral nail, followed by a complex hip replacement - a BIG operation - Mr Jaiswal's words, not mine. This entailed a dual surgeon operation at the Royal Free Hospital. The results have been spectacular - I am so grateful, my quality of life has significantly improved!
I had a combined ACP max and Senogyl 64 injection in both knees in january . I was suprised to not feel it at all the enxt few days and are also happy abut the mid term success as I feel less pain after Tennis and running
Everything about my experience from first consultation to discharge was excellent. All staff were amazing.
I underwent a total knee replacement with Mr Parag Jaiswal two months ago and have had a very positive experience. The pre-operative consultation was thorough and realistic, with clear explanations of both the procedure and the recovery process. I appreciated the straightforward communication and not feeling rushed into any decisions. The surgery and aftercare have been well organised, and my recovery so far has been smooth. At two months, my mobility is improving steadily and my pain levels are significantly reduced compared to before the operation. While I understand full recovery takes more time, I am very satisfied with the progress to date and the overall care I received. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Parag Jaiswal.
I have been seeing Mr Jaiswal for a year with a knee injury brought on through years of running. From the start Mr Jaiswal has been committed to getting me fully recovered. It has been hugely reassuring having him as my consultant - he regularly checks in, ensures I fully understand the treatment and makes sure my care is second to none (physio recommendations, hospital choices etc). If it wasn’t for Mr Jaiswal, I could have required a knee replacement in my mid thirties. Instead - his expertise and guidance has put me on the road to recovery and ensured that I can enjoy being a young Father pain free! I can’t speak highly enough of Mr Jaiswal and would recommend to anyone with knee issues.
welcoming professional Quick straight to the point listened and comprehend everything I said.
