About Mr Ashraf Raja
Mr Mohammad Ashraf Khan Raja is a consultant general and colorectal surgeon. His specialities are colorectal and upper-gastrointestinal surgeries.
Mr Raja is highly experienced in a large number of medical and surgical procedures concerning the colorectal and gastrointestinal region. These include endoscopy, laparoscopic general and colorectal surgery, laparoscopic gallbladder surgery as well as surgery for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colorectal cancer, faecal incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction disorders and abdominal hernia repair.

He was easy to talk to, listened carefully and answered all my questions. He was very reassuring and set out a clear treatment plan and follow up.
Dr Rajas been brilliant. Only downside was after operation I wasnt seen to by Dr Raja who I appreciate was runninv around 90mins/2hrs behind but the hospital staff were able to tell me what I actually had done

Mr Raja is always very thorough and explains things well in a way you can understand. I am always confident in the advice he gives me. His secretary is also very efficient and has a lovely helpful manner.
Have been under Mr Raja’s care for a number of years, initially for a major operation and then for several follow up procedures. I have had a very positive experience every time and always felt I was in very capable hands. I totally trust Mr Raja , he has been very reassuring through some difficult times. He listens and cares which is important to me and he has a great sense of humour which is a bonus!
I found Dr. Raja very understanding of why I wanted the Colonoscopy and his arrangements to carry it out. Everything went very smoothly including a post-op visit to see me and a 3 week follow up appointment.
