Following this, he completed a fellowship of the Podiatry Association in 1997 and continued with his training before becoming a Consultant in Podiatric Surgery in 2000.
His areas of interest in Podiatric Surgery includes treatment of bunions, osteoarthritis, hammertoes, heel pain and gait analysis.
He is a member of the diabetic foot protection team at Doncaster working closely with Vascular surgeons in limb salvage.
Mr Wilkinson has a keen interest in minimally invasive foot surgery and is the Only Podiatric Surgeon in the North of England qualified to undertake this work.

Orthopaedic SurgeryI have known Mr Wilkinson for over twenty years now and he is a highly experienced recognized podiatric surgeon who has a wealth of experience in foot and foot related conditions. He regularly and diligently keeps track of his own results, which I know are superb and offers surgical procedures that other surgeons cannot, such as toe lengthening and minimally invasive bunion surgery. Mr Wilkinson is an excellent colleague and is an outstanding surgeon and I have no hesitation in recommending him.
