I came to see Mr Molloy after a Grade 2-3 sprain to my left ankle. I had injured my ankle before and suffered from a general instability which negatively affected me in everyday life, doing sports and in my work life. In every consultation Mr Molloy took the time to really listen to my concerns and answer all of the questions I had. He thoroughly explained every option I had for recovery and gave me time to think about these to then inform him about my decision. Coming from the field of veterinary medicine I had detailed questions about the reconstructional surgery he performs and the procedure, which he patiently answered and even recommended publications on the surgery procedures for me to read and research, before making a decision about my treatment. Since I am originally from Germany, Mr. Molloy also recommended surgeons that would do reconstructional surgery in Germany, giving me all the options I could choose from to make a decision regarding my treatment. I decided to get reconstructional surgery from Mr Molloy and am more than glad that I did. On the day of the surgery I was well looked after, Mr Molloy and the anaesthetist visited before and after the surgery to go through the surgery and the after care again. Everything was well explained, highly professional and there were no questions left open. The aftercare was exceptional as well, all of my follow-up appointments were pre-booked, alongside with physiotherapy appointments. I could not be happier about the outcome of my surgery – during the recovery process I realised how much my instability had affected me over the years and what it feels like to relearn movements and perform exercises without the fear of my ankle giving in. I regained my security on slippery and uneven grounds, I am in the process of returning to hiking, yoga and gymnastics and I was able to fully return to work as an equine vet and treat horses without feeling insecure about being able to jump out of their way quick enough if needed. Mr Molloy's patience and empathy combined with professional expertise has made me feel extremely supported along the way, and I can’t thank him enough for his professionalism and skills and the outcome of my surgery. I would always recommend him to anyone suffering from an ankle injury or instability. Long story short: The regained stability of my ankle makes me feel like I am getting fitter than I was before!

I have had both feet operated on by Mr Molloy. The right foot in 2016 incorporated six different procedures which I opted to have done at the same time. At this point in my life I was a 60 year old hotelier, struggling to stand / walk for my duties in my business, let alone not enjoying walking on the fells anymore due to the severe pain. This operation was a success of life changing proportions, I became pain free and within months walked 14 miles in the Lake District without any pain or swelling. I decided to wait for the operation for my left foot for a further period until 2023, as then it was apparant I would benefit again from surgery. I wanted to retain good movement in my big toe as my hobbies are walking and yoga. I am aware that other surgeons might have offered to fuse the joint to remove pain but Mr Molloy did an alternative highly successful procedure. The left foot is now also pain free, the big toe has excellent mobility and I am fully mobile. In both cases I was told that post operative physio exercises at home were crucial, and I embraced this advice and feel sure it aided my recovery and progress. I would highly recommend Mr Molloy for his skill and kindness, as I have said to him frequently since, life changing, he has enabled me to enjoy life to the full.

My experience with Mr. A Molloy was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked into his consulting room I was greeted with professionalism and warmth. Mr. Molloy's expertise in sports injuries was evident as he confidently assessed my condition. During the consultation Mr. Molloy demonstrated exceptional listening skills, taking the time to understand my concerns and symptoms. His communication skills were impeccable, as he explained his diagnosis and treatment plan in a clear and understandable manner. What truly impressed me was Mr. Molloy's ability to use his professional judgment to make a clinical diagnosis. He didn't just provide a quick fix; he offered his opinion and expertise on the best course of action, including recommending a suitable physiotherapist for ongoing treatment. After spending a significant amount of money on various treatments in the past, I finally feel reassured that I have received the diagnosis I've been waiting for. Thanks to Mr. Molloy, I now have a plan in place for any future sports-related injuries. Overall, I highly recommend Mr. A Molloy to anyone seeking expert care for sports injuries. His professionalism, knowledge, and empathy make him a standout specialist in his field. I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again for any future issues.
