About
Mr William Green is a consultant urologist who performs all general urology as well as major cancer surgery, including cystectomy, nephrectomy and nephro-ureterectomy. He is based at the Park Hospital and the Lincoln Hospital.
After achieving a first-class degree in neuroscience at the University of Nottingham Medical School, Mr Green went on to complete his surgical and urological training in the East Midlands. He gained experience in all aspects of urology and developed a specialist interest in bladder cancer and kidney cancer, which led him to undertake a uro-oncology fellowship at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth, Western Australia.
Mr Green has a strong research background; he is the clinical lead for research and innovation for the cancer and associated specialities (CAS) division at Nottingham University Hospitals. He is also an honorary assistant professor at The University of Nottingham Medical School and was recently appointed regional advisor for the East Midlands within the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS).

Very friendly and easy to talk to, explained everything clearly, made the consultation much more relaxed.

What a refreshing change from the usual service of the NHS. Mr Green was professional in the utmost yet still so friendly and easy to get on with. I didn't feel rushed, he explained everything with clarity and was clearly extremely knowledgeable. Despite the circumstances requiring the appointment it was a pleasure to meet such a nice guy.
