About Mr Vivek Datta
Mr Vivek Datta works at Guy's and St. Thomas' Foundation Trust as a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon. He has more than 25 years' experience in the field and performs a wide range of gastrointestinal and colorectal procedures. After graduating from the University of London in 1993, Mr Datta went on to undertake surgical training including fellowships at St Mark's University College Hospital in London. He also completed a research MD at Imperial College.
Mr Datta is passionate about research and teaching, and he has co-authored several articles in his field. He is a frequent speaker at national conferences and seminars, and he is on the steering group for the National Training Programme in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery.

He performed two sets of surgery, and has carried out my follow up consultations, and colonoscopies, ever since. He is intelligent, engaging and humourous.
