Mr Tom Smith-Walker

Mr Tom Smith-Walker is a Consultant Gynaecologist with a particular interest in minimal access surgery, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures. His specialist practice focuses on pelvic pain and menstrual disorders, including endometriosis and fibroids.

Mr Smith-Walker performs a range of minimally invasive gynaecological procedures, including diagnostic laparoscopy, laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy, excision of endometriosis and division of adhesions. His hysteroscopic practice includes outpatient hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation and hysteroscopic removal of fibroids.

After completing his medical training in London in 2003, Mr Smith-Walker undertook specialist training in the South West, which he completed in 2013. His training included a specific focus on minimal access surgery and the management of endometriosis. He subsequently obtained a Diploma with Merit in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy in 2015.

Mr Smith-Walker is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopists, European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopists and British Society of Urogynaecology.
