Mr. Corbett was a personal recommendation from another surgeon. My son needed a second opinion, quickly, to establish whether or not he would need surgery whilst he was abroad. Within hours Mr Corbett had reviewed his scans and images, arranged a video consultation and explained everything clearly and patiently. Unfortunately as an a family we have had experience of many surgeons - this was truly an exceptional experience.
With a tricky diagnosis that could have been treated both conservatively or surgically, Mr Corbett took the time to assess, discuss and even reassess my injury. He listened and took all variables into account particularly my wishes and a collaborative decision was made. As a fellow health care professional, I will gladly recommend Mr Corbett.
Mr Corbett is a fantastic doctor with a ton of patience, a great listener and a profound diagnostician. He also possesses a lot of charisma and a lovely sense of humour!
I was extremely happy with my consultation with Mr Corbett . His explanation for the cause of my problem was very clear and the next steps were suggested in a way that I understood and felt confident about. Amazing. He gave a very good explanation of what was wrong with me and what had been the problem in the past. It all made perfect sense. He had an appointment with a specialist the following morning. The checking was very straightforward, staff friendly and helpful. Mr Corbett was excellent and explained everything very clearly.

In this instance, I believe that the consultation was focused on a longstanding condition, and it was extended from the scheduled 15 minutes to over 35 minutes to try to fully understand your concerns, explore all appropriate options, and formulate an agreed management plan. Unfortunately I am not able to advise on the insurance/legal matters which were raised, as these fall outside my clinical role My priority is always to listen carefully and offer clear, helpful advice within my scope of my practice. I appreciate that this may have been frustrating, and I’m sorry to learn that you left the consultation feeling this way, as this is certainly not the experience I aim to provide and referenced in previous reviews.
