Mr Simon Wood

Mr Simon Wood is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Charing Cross Hospital, and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London. He undertook his Plastic Surgery training in Cambridge, Oxford and London.

He specialises in breast reconstruction, head and neck cancer reconstruction and skin cancer. He also has extensive experience in managing abdominal wall incisional hernias.

He is highly active in clinical research and the education of trainees in his filed. He was previously President of the Plastic Surgery Section at The Royal Society of Medicine and is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) , The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and a the Specialist Advisory Committee for Plastic Surgery at The Royal College of Surgeons.
