Mr Sigurd Kraus

Mr Sigurd Kraus is a highly experienced consultant urologist with more than 25 years of experience in the field. He specialises in all aspects of general urology as well as bladder problems such as overactive or irritable bladder, prostate disease, incontinence, and cystitis. Mr Kraus consults at Castle Hill Hospital as well as Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital, where he implemented the incontinence service. Procedures performed by Mr Kraus include vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, bladder lesion removal, cystoscopy, circumcision, and epididymal cysts removal.

Mr Kraus qualified with his medical degree in 1991 before subsequently achieving his Doctor of Medicine a few years later. After spending time training in South Africa and the UK, he returned to Germany where he completed his higher surgical training in urology. Mr Kraus later developed an interest in uro-oncology and has researched molecular oncology as part of his post-doctorate research. In 2001, he joined the GMC specialist register and has been working in Hull since 2003.
