Felt like I received an expert and considered treatment plan tailored to my needs

I have recently undergone reconstruction surgery to the bridge of my nose by Richard Scawn, following the excision of a large extensive Basal cell carcinoma . The defined area was very close to my eye and the surgeon performing the procedure strongly recommended Richard Scawn for the repair. On meeting Richard Scawn I felt reassured immediately by his most professional manner and explanation of the procedure alongside his warm and caring personality which left me feeling safe and confident to go ahead with the complicated procedure. The operation went well, Richard described his technique tailored to my particular needs . I am now 4 months on , the healing process has been excellent as has been the after care and reassurance. I am delighted with the outcome and feel very grateful that I was recommended Richard Scawn .

I enjoyed a very professional relationship during my treatment period with Richard Scawn. From initial consultancy, through the surgical procedure to my final assessment, Richard, and his theatre nurse Anna, provided a first class service of which I am now the happy beneficiary. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I found Richard was excellent and explained everything with my eye problems. Richard made me feel at ease as I was pretty nervous, after initial diagnosis, Richard was able to do treatment within 10 mins or seeing him. I would fully recommend Richard Scawn. Thank you Ericka R

The discussions I had with Mr Richard Scawn concerning the assessment of the ailment, was tremendously comforting and gave me the unprecedented confidence to request that the treatment should be done instantly if possible. My appointment was late in the evening, and it seemed as if it was the end of his working day, but he was kind enough to accommodate me, and did an outstanding job. I am extremely grateful.

I had developed a droopy upper eyelid as a result of nerve damage to my eye due to a car accident. This was then exacerbated by the gradual formation of excess skin above my lid. I became increasingly conscious of my eye and started to feel that the droopiness was impacting my vision. As soon as I met Mr Richard Scawn, I felt completely at ease as he was able to explain the surgical options available to me in a very clear and straightforward way. I decided that blepharoplasty would be the best option and was able to schedule the surgery at the The Clinic in Holland Park at my convenience. During the procedure, Mr Scawn and Anna had a very calming manner, which was most reassuring, and the level of care I experienced was exemplary. The procedure was carried out very efficiently, and I recovered quickly. Although the blepharoplasty was able to alleviate some of the droopiness, we decided that further surgery would correct the remaining ptosis. This was successfully carried out, and I'm extremely happy with the result. Mr Scawn has a well-deserved reputation within the field of oculoplastic surgery. He is exceptionally caring, considerate and professional, and I cannot thank him enough. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his team.
