Mr Peter Gallacher

My recent visit to see Mr Gallacher was very informative. He listened to the problems that I have been experiencing with my knee and I felt as though he truly understood my struggles . He explained in depth the composition of my knee and why the frequent dislocations could be occurring . He discussed the possible surgical options and explained the importance of completing physio exercises. I feel as though I can finally have a solution for my knee that has made me loose my confidence when playing sport and ultimately causing me to stop altogether .

From my initial consultation through to my final appointment this has been such a positive experience for me, I’ve been treated so well and I’m absolutely delighted with every aspect of my treatment, my surgery has been a game changer. Another wonderful experience at RHAH under the care of Mr Gallacher. Very calm, quiet bedside manner immediately putting you at ease. Would not hesitate to recommend. My surgery went completely to plan and I am well on my way to a full recovery. A brief stay in Ludlow was comfortable with attentive and efficient staff.

I came to see Mr Gallagher for a second opinion about a knee issue and he answered all my questions and hopefully we can move forward and get things sorted from here

Mr Gallacher performed my knee replacement surgery in 2015. He was absolutely fantastic - professional, kind, and thoughtful throughout the entire process and even though I was a young patient for having a knee replacement (52) this wasn’t a problem.What really stood out to me was his ability to explain everything in a way that made sense to me, taking the time to answer all my questions and concerns. His bedside manner was exceptional, and I felt truly cared for and supported every step of the way. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs orthopaedic care/surgery.

Very easy to understand( though I have a medical/ veterinary background , I think a non medic would understand his explanation well. Slight delay in receiving MRI report/result as secretary seemed unaware that the scan had been done in her follow up phone call.
