About Mr Patrick Foster
Mr Patrick Foster qualified from the University of Oxford in 2001, with a first class degree. His surgical training was in Leeds followed by The Ilizarov Fellowship in Liverpool and The National Paediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship in Sheffield.
He was appointed as a consultant in Major Trauma, Limb Reconstruction and Paediatric Orthopaedics in Leeds in 2013, which is one of the very busiest units in the UK. He offers expertise in the treatment of limb deformity, limb lengthening, the Ilizarov Method, complex trauma problems and general paediatric orthopaedics. He was Lead Clinician for paediatric orthopaedics 2019-2024 and has been awarded 6 Clinical Excellence Awards.
Mr Foster sees private patients at the Spire Leeds Hospital and the Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital.
Mr Foster acts an expert witness for medicolegal cases that fall within his areas of expertise, including medical negligence and NHS Ombudsman reports.
