Mr Patrick Chong is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon who qualified in 1993. Chong did his surgical training in the London and the South Thames rotations, completing his training with a Fellowship at St. Mary's Hopital Imperial College NHS Foundation Trust in 2007.
In 2000, Chong won the European Society of Vascular Surgery Young Investigator Prize. For his research, Chong was also awarded the Royal Society of Medicine Glaxo Travelling Fellowship to the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Chong's clinical interests include Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Hernia repair surgery, Diabetic Limb Salvage, Vascular Medicine and Varicose Vein Surgery.
He is currently a council member for the British Society for Endovascular Therapy (BSET) and chair of the Education and Fellowship committees.
He is Clinical Programme Director for the North Hampshire and West Surrey AAA Screening Programme
