Mr Magdy Moawad is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon based in Surrey, UK. After gaining his qualifications in Cairo, Egypt he has undertook advanced training in vascular and endovascular surgery, working in various renowned Vascular and Endovascular Units such as St. Thomas', St. George's and Royal Free hospitals in London.

He has a Master's degree in General Surgery and was awarded his FRCS (Ed). In 2009 he gained FRCS (Gen.Surg) in vascular surgery.

His enhanced training has allowed him exposure to diverse and unique surgical procedures to better advise his patients. Most surgeries including major cases are performed under local anaesthesia.

Throughout his career he has been involved in teaching undergraduates and postgraduate doctors from varied Universities and has a passion for surgical training. He is an examiner at the Imperial College in London and is a member of the interviewing panel for potential medical students at St George's University.

In his personal time he enjoys music and also plays the Lute and Violin himself. He has performed throughout Europe for various charitable and other events.
