Mr Paramasivam Sathyamoorthy

Mr Sathyamoorthy is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon. He specialises in the management of shoulder, elbow and hand problems including sports related injuries. He undertook his initial medical degree at Madras University, India and graduated in 1991 before moving to the UK where he continued his training and practice.

He completed a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at Liverpool University Hospital, performing all aspects of shoulder, elbow and hand surgery mostly arthroscopically; forming a cornerstone of his current practice for which he has exceptional experience, performing over 750 procedures per year.

Mr Sathyamoorthy is a passionate educator, and highly sought after for the knowledge and experience that he has. He works with Bangor University, training advanced clinical practitioners working on the trauma ward and Extended scope physiotherapists. He also works with the Universities of Cardiff and Liverpool – allowing medical students to attend his clinics for teaching purposes; offering the highest quality mentorship to the next generation of clinicians.
