About Mr Nigel Davies
Mr Nigel Davies is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in retinal vascular disease, diabetic retinopathy, cataract surgery and glaucoma.
He completed his training in London at the Western Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, and was awarded a Vision Research Fellowship by the Wellcome Trust. He completed his PhD at Imperial College London, on visual dysfunction in diabetes mellitus.
Mr Davies an interest in science and is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers. He is also currently studying for a degree in Astronomy and Cosmology at the University of Central Lancashire.
