About Mr Nicholas Ferran

I had excellent service on my recent visit, where Mr Ferran operated on my right shoulder. Mr Ferran operated on my left shoulder in 2021. I was given the full protocol on my recovery timeline and it went exactly how he had explained. At 12 months after the op it was like I could do everything I used to do before the injury. I was very impressed that his anaesthetist called me the day after the op to see how I was doing. In May 2025 he operated on my right shoulder following an injury. This was a bigger op than the left shoulder but everything went so well. Mr Ferran and the physio he recommended worked closely together following the recovery protocol and I'm now at 8 months after surgery. My shoulder feels really great and I'm back at the gym doing body pump, weight bearing exercises and golf with no pain.

I visited Mr Ferran at the Clementine Churchill, to be treated for a frozen shoulder. Mr Ferran was very clear with his explanations and we decided I would have surgery. The surgery took place at the Sr John and Elizabeth Hospital. I saw immediate improvements and then visited the physio whom Mr Ferran recommended. I have now been discharged and my shoulder is much improved. I would recommend the doctor and the treatment that I had.
Mr Ferran is a pleasure to deal with. He is knowledgeable, patient and clear in his explanation of my situation- in this case a shoulder injury from a horse riding accident. He directed me to physio rather than surgical intervention or wearing a sling and I have no doubt this was the right approach and I am on the right road to recovery. Many thanks!
