Mr Matthew is a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery, using both arthroscopic (keyhole) and open surgery of the shoulder and elbow treating both elective shoulder and elbow problems as well as injuries and fractures of the shoulder and elbow. He also will undertake carpal tunnel releases.

• sports shoulder injuries
• carpal tunnel release for carpal tunnel syndrome
• capsular release for frozen shoulder

Mr Matthew did his basic surgical training in the Manchester area and Specialist Registrar training on the North West Rotation. He gained a diploma in Orhopaedics and Rehabilitation Technology. He then became a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England, specializing in Upper Limb Surgery by undertaking 3 fellowship posts.
