My experience was really good at all stages, I would not change anything

A huge thank you to Mr Evans and his team for their skill, empathy and the superb care and attention I received whilst at the Sancta Maria Hospital. I was kept totally informed during the whole procedure for an umbilical hernia which was about six hours from entering the hospital to walking back to the nearby hotel in which I stayed for several days. I had virtually zero pain after the procedure and only took the Paracetamol tablets as instructed for a couple of days, as I felt I didn't need them. It has been just over four weeks since the procedure and I have to say that I am delighted with the outcome this far and can highly recommend Mr Evans to anyone needing surgical intervention.

With much trepidation I underwent a colonoscopy procedure as part of a range of investigations to help determine the nature of a bowel condition I had been enduring for some months. Prior to the procedure Mr Evans explained in detail the benefits of the procedure, the manner in which it would be performed, the options for mild sedation and the minimal risks involved. On the day the ward staff at Sancta Maria Hospital were most welcoming and the theatre staff very supportive. Mr Evans was extremely professional throughout the 45 minute procedure, explaining what he was doing and taking note of some discomfort I advised him of. He advised me of his initial findings right after the procedure and through his very efficient secretary, quickly arranged some follow up tests.
