Mr Martyn Evans is a professional and friendly specialist in his patient interactions. He provides clear explanations for various procedures, including hernia repairs, bowel cancer treatment, colonoscopies, and management of haemorrhoids and anal fissures. Patients consistently feel at ease and well-informed, leading to successful outcomes and many recommendations. Some patients mention post-operative discomfort could be better highlighted. Review feedback consistently highlights expertise in general surgery, with significant focus on hernia repairs, haemorrhoids, and colonoscopies.
Mr Evans was very professional and caring throughout the whole process. He took time to explain in detail his diagnosis and what the treatment would involve. He also came to see me before and after the operation to ensure that I was ok. He had warned me that I would experience a lot of pain after the operation and he wasn't joking! However the aftercare that he and the Sancta Maria hospital proided was first class and the operation was a complete success. I am very grateful to Mr Evans for all his help.
Mr Martyn Evans explained the options to me at his clinic. As I explained the symtoms of the second Inguinal Hernia in my groin became became very apparent soon after the Ambilical hernia, but over the period since, the symptoms have reduced and at this moment I am happy to live with it, but he did explain it would be a better option to get it repaired. I would like to consider this a bit longer, and he has agreed to see me if I change my mind. I therefore consider his advice to be first class, as we both consider that, at my age of 77, it could have serious consequences due to strangulation.
I visited about hemorroids and anal fissure, Dr Evans made sure I was informed throughout and we decided the best course of action which I genuinly think has really helped
Punctual, professional and gave me all the information that I needed to know.
Very professional and I would recommend the service 10out of 10
Mr Martyn Evans was extremely likeable. Down to earth, friendly and gave the impression that he had all the time in the world to answer any questions about the procedure he would carry out. I would gladly use his services again, and recommend him to anyone else.
I was admitted for a hernia repair and the whole experience was as stress free as the staff could possibly make it. Mr Evans gave me a full explanation of what to expect and I was treated with courtesy and dignity. My operation was successful and I was well informed of the aftercare needed while the wound healed.I wouldn’t hesitate to use Mr Evans’ expertise in the future and would recommend him to friends and family.
Cannot fault at all, always explains things in an easy to understand way. Extremely friendly and in my opinion offers the best service all round. Secretary is just as amazing and would recommend to anyone who has the same health issue as me.
From my first consultation through to my pre and post operational examinations I felt very pleased. The operation I had was successful and I made an excellent recovery. Mr Evans has a very friendly and reassuring manner, he explained the problem and corrective procedure in a detailed and easy to understand language. The whole experience was a huge success. One very happy patient.
Mr Martyn Evans couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful. He understood fully our concerns and was very reassuring.
