Mr Kasetti Ravikumar

Mr Kasetti Ravikumar is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery. He is based in Kent and currently practises at the following private hospitals:

• KIMS Hospital Limited, Maidstone
• Circle Chelsfield Park Hospital, Orpington
• Lycahealth, Orpington
• Sevenoaks Medical Centre, Sevenoaks

In his current positions, he sees patients with conditions such as with knee, hip pain and injuries, hip & knee arthritis, and sports injuries of Knee.

He has special interests in lower limb arthroscopy and hip and knee replacement surgery, including revisions. He also has expertise in knee reconstruction surgery and often performs procedures such as ACL reconstructive surgery, microfracture, and meniscal repair.

Mr Ravikumar completed his primary medical degree in 1989 at Mysore Medical College, India. He later obtained a Master's degree in Orthopaedics and became a Diplomate of National Board by the National Board of Examiners, India in 1992.

He moved to the UK and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1994 and completed a Master of Surgery degree in Orthopaedics at the University of Liverpool in 1996. In 1998 he became a Fellow in Orthopaedics at the Royal College of Surgeons, UK.

Mr Ravikumar is actively involved in research and has previously published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals. He also tutors in orthopaedics. He is also involved in medico-legal work for personal injury claims and is a Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is also a member of the following professional bodies:
