About Mr Jullien Brady

Mr Brady’s patients often refer to him as ‘the most friendly and approachable gynaecologist in the UK’.

His excellent feedback highlights brilliant communication skills with a professional, kind, calm and engaging bedside manner. He ensures that every patient is listened to so that their needs and concerns can be heard and addressed. All treatment plans are agreed with the patient at the centre of any decision making.

Mr Brady knows how worrying gynaecological issues can be. He has capacity to see new referrals very quickly. All new referrals are guaranteed to be offered a first appointment within 48 hours, but most can be seen the next or even the same day in his afternoon/evening clinics.

Mr Brady has performed over 10,000 gynaecology procedures. He is a specialist in menopause and perimenopause as well as colposcopy (the management of abnormal cervical screening). Pelvic pain, endometriosis, abnormal menstrual bleeding, PMOS (formerly PCOS), vulval skin conditions, fibroids, ovarian cysts, PMDD, and complex contraception needs form the bulk of his caseload.

I first saw Mr Brady over 20 years ago for the removal of pre-cancerous cells from my cervix. From the very beginning, he was patient, professional, and refreshingly straightforward. He explained exactly what he was going to do, carried out the procedure with great care, and made sure to follow up afterwards. Over the years, I have returned to Mr Brady for several procedures, and I also choose him to perform my smear tests. I have a tilted womb, which has made smear tests difficult and, at times, extremely painful when carried out by other healthcare professionals. With Mr Brady, I have always felt comfortable, understood, and in safe hands. I cannot recommend Mr Brady highly enough. He is an exceptional surgeon who is dedicated, compassionate, and genuinely committed to providing the very best care for his patients.

Mr Brady has looked after me since the early 2000's.....i was his 2nd Private patient and there has not been one single moment where I have not felt completely confident in his care and his expert advice and treatment, surgery and monitoring of several gynaecological conditions that I have. In my experience of having seen numerous Consultants for a variety of different health issues, spanning almost 4 decades, all I can say is that I wish they were all as attentive and understanding as Mr Brady. He is very generous with his time and really listens to any concerns, no matter how small. My 2 adult daughters have also had a variety of gynae problems, some quite complex, so thank goodness i knew exactly who could diagnose and carry out successful surgeries and procedures on both of them. To anybody reading my review, based on my continued gynae needs of over 25 years under Mr Brady's care, please know that you'll be in very good hands!

Mr Brady promotes a very relaxed but professional environment to his consultations. This approach puts you totally at ease. He takes time to listen to concerns and offers good advice on the way forward with my hormone replacement treatment, primarily testosterone. Mr Brady has a good up to date knowledge of perimenopause/menopause treatment and understands the bigger picture associated with taking HRT. I have been under Mr Brady's care for the past 15 months and I have been very pleased with Mr Brady's advice and care and I actively recommend him to friends. Mr Brady demonstrates a genuine interest in his patients in a caring manner.

Following an upsetting discussion from my gp, I was given very vague information about the potential diagnosis of cancer after a scan. I was in a bit of a state but got an appointment with Mr Brady within a week. As soon as I walked into the appointment he calmly told me there was no risk and nothing abnormal on my scan. He advised the next steps to support me through the menopause and answered all of my questions. I received a full explanation of what the procedure was for and what to expect. During my procedure I felt comfortable and relaxed, well as you can be in these situations! I had a follow up appointment and a call to check in. A great consultant with patience and compassion.
