Mr Jonathan Adamthwaite

Mr Jonathan Adamthwaite is one of the UK's leading Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeons. He has extensive experience in all aspects of aesthetic surgery with a special interest in breast and facial surgery.

After graduating from Oxford University Medical School, he completed further medical training at University College London. He was awarded a position on the prestigious London Pan-Thames Plastic Surgery Training Scheme. This rotation enabled him to gain experience at number of prestigious plastic surgery centres including the Royal Free Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

He completed additional specialist training in Cosmetic Surgery and Breast Surgery in the UK, Europe and USA. He was then awarded a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious Wellington Hospital. Here he was trained by the UK's top cosmetic surgeons in the latest techniques. Following this, he undertook a further fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital in advanced breast surgery and breast reconstruction.

He is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Head of Training for the Department of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was recently elected to Plastic Surgery Council at the Royal Society of Medicine.

He has been published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals and has also written three book chapters on plastic surgery, including the best-selling book Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
