About Mr Jerome Lim
Mr Jerome Lim has been a consultant ENT surgeon since 2008, dividing his time between his work in the private sector with his NHS work based at Medway Maritime Hospital. His practice covers most areas of Adult and Paediatric ENT surgery with areas of interest including ear infections, blocked ears, nasal blockage and sinusitis, sleep disorders, hearing loss and voice problems.
Mr Lim qualified from St George's Hospital Medical School. He then undertook training in both general and Ear, Nose and Throat. He completed his specialist ENT training, covering all aspects of ENT, in the South-West Thames region. Furthermore, he completed further training that was more specialised in paediatric ENT surgery, rhinology and facial plastic surgery; he undertook this training at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals, and St George's hospital, in London, as well as hospitals in Zurich, Switzerland.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, having successfully completed three separate exminations in General Surgery, ENT surgery, and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He has been on the General Medical Council's Specialist Register for Otolaryngology since 2008.
He was appointed as Lead Clinician for the ENT department at Medway Hospital from 2011-2017, and as Clinical Director for surgery at Medway Hospital from 2016-2018.
He is dedicated to providing high standards of ENT care to his patients and is motivated to continually improving patient access to ENT services. Furthermore, he has maintained excellent communication with both patients and his colleagues which adds to his level of patient care.

Brilliant hospital, clean, friendly, easy to park, cant fault it. Every consultant I have seen has been exceptional.
He was very professional and efficient. He showed great care with his examination and treatment, and was also kind and considerate. It was not rushed in any way and I felt very reassured that I was in good hands.
Mr Lim was very gentle with my ear which had a painful infection. He spent a lot time gently clearing it and gave me some very good advice on treatment going forward. I felt like I was in very capable hands.
I saw Mr Lim due to having a perforated ear that required surgery. Mr Lim was very professional and thorough throughout my experience. His knowledge and communication skills are excellent and he is very approachable and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend using Mr Lim.
I was extremely impressed with every aspect of my consultation. Mr Lim has a very professional demeanour that immediately instils confidence. He is also a good communicator and listens attentively. My problem, which had persisted for a couple of months, was cured within a week of my visit!
