Mr Jerome Lim was very good, and everything went well initially. However, I was very disappointed with the process of booking my hearing test and scan. I had informed the team several times that I do not live near the area, so having the hearing test and scan on the same day would have been a great help and would have saved me from making multiple journeys. The day before my appointment, I received a call informing me that the scan machine was not working. I was then told that the machine was working again and that everything would be fine for my appointment. However, on the actual day of my appointment, I received another call informing me that the machine was not working after all. By that point, I had already arranged and taken an unpaid day off work, so this was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. I am still waiting for a new appointment. While I was very happy with Mr Jerome Lim and his care, I am disappointed with the communication and organisation surrounding the scan appointment. I hope this can be addressed and that my new appointment can be arranged as soon as possible.

He explained in a very easily way how my symptom of my dizziness and how it happened and what treatment was he going to perform to sort it out.

This was my first surgical procedure and Mr Lim explained the details of the surgery and what to expect afterwards in a very clear and understandable way. I knew all my options beforehand and the overall experience was excellent. I had been waiting on the NHS list for around 2 years and the whole process was completed within weeks at the Spire.

After being unwell since March, with countless visits to my GP and the hospital and still no answers, I decided to book an appointment with Jerome privately. It was the best decision I could have made. Within minutes of my appointment, Jerome diagnosed the problem as glue ear—something that had been missed despite months of appointments. I had completely lost the hearing in my right ear, and it had really affected my day-to-day life and left me feeling so fed up. Jerome explained everything clearly, discussed the treatment options and what I could do to help improve the condition, and I left the appointment feeling reassured, hopeful, and finally understood.
