About Mr Jan Stanek
Mr Jan Stanek qualified in 1975 from Oxford University Medical School. He specialises in Plastic surgery and completed 9 years of training in the NHS within the Department of General and Plastic Surgery. Following on from this, in 1987 he set up a private practice and in 1993 he set up a surgical aesthetics clinic, having treated more than 20,000 patients.
His practices offer all aspects of cosmetic surgery and his main specialities include facial cosmetic surgery, facial rejuvenation and endoscopic facial surgery. For over 27 years Mr Stanek has performed thousands of cosmetic procedures allowing him to develop his surgical skills and adding to his overall clinical experience. He is now seen as one of the world's leading clinicians in Plastic surgery. He currently works at 25 Harley Street and Weymouth Street Hospital.
Mr Stanek has also shown an interest in teaching and for almost 20 years he has been visiting and teaching at Brno University in the Czech Republic. He has also taught in other universities around the world and has written numerous articles on plastic and cosmetic surgery. Jan Stanek is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). Jan has also featured in Channel 5 series ‘Plastic Fantastic' and the Channel 4 series '10 years younger'.
