Are you James Moore?
Mr James Moore is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and accredited specialist in urology with a particular focus on pre- and post-operative care to optimise surgery and recovery outcomes.
Mr Moore graduated from the University of Wales Medical School in Cardiff, undertaking basic surgical training on the St Bartholomew's circuit in London, including an 18-month post with the urology team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He was awarded a prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Fellowship and joined Professor Alison Brading's world renowned Continence Group at the University of Oxford, where he carried out scientific research into the basic mechanisms of bladder sensation in health and diseases, such as overactive bladder and interstitial cystitis. The results were presented and published internationally and his interest in clinical research continues.
He then undertook a year-long urology fellowship at the Christchurch Urology and Burwood Spinal Injuries Centre in New Zealand, treating patients with complex problems from all over the country. He has also received comprehensive training in the most advanced techniques in benign urological surgery; both in the Oxford Urology Program and during the time I spent working in New Zealand and am one of the few UK urologists to have formal training in female pelvic floor reconstruction.
