Mr James Dominic Heath

I was a full time NHS consultant at the Sussex Eye Hospital in Brighton until April 2026, with interests in cataract surgery, paediatric ophthalmology, squint surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, and emergency eye care.

I see and treat adult private patients at Spire Hospital Harpenden. This hospital also allows children under 16 years to be seen, but not treated surgically - however from May 2026, surgery can be done at the Clementine Churchill Hospital In Harrow, which has a paediatric unit. 

I am married with four grown up children, have two dogs, and live in Hertfordshire. I enjoy watching rugby, running, music, architecture, reading, family life, and our dogs.
