About Mr Hugh Clarke
I am a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Hip and Knee surgery. I have over 20 years of surgical experience in this field. My postgraduate Orthopaedic education was through the Wessex Orthopaedic program including a Fellowship in the USA at John's Hopkins University in Baltimore in lower limb joint reconstructive surgery.
I perform between 150 to 230 hip and knee joint replacements per year and 30-60 arthroscopic surgeries per year.
I have been in the top 10% for many years for the lowest revision surgery rates for uncemented hip replacement in the UK. I have extensive experience in Revision as well as primary replacements.
I currently work at the Spire Portsmouth Hospital
