Mr Hemant Nemade

Mr Hemant Nemade is a Consultant Urologist currently working at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey. He specialises in Andrology, Functional urology/continence, General Urology, Urinary tract stones and Urological Oncology. He delivers services for general urological conditions such as waterworks problems, penile conditions and scrotal swellings as well as treatments for stones of kidney and ureter and prostate cancer.

Mr Nemade attained his qualifications from the University of Mumbai in 2000. Following this, he completed specialist Urology training in India and sub-specialist training in Minimally invasive, Uro-oncology and Paediatric Urology at Royal Marsden, King's College Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital in the UK.

Alongside his qualifications and clinical expertise, Mr Nemade has an interest in improving patient safety which he demonstrates as a member of the Governance Committee of the patient safety trust. He also actively researches ways of improving prostate cancer diagnosis and he has presented widely in national and international meetings. He uses his clinical expertise to teach undergraduate and postgraduate medicine and is an undergraduate examiner for University College London.

Additionally, Mr Nemade has many awards including Gold Medal in Urology, National Board, India 2009 and Gold medal in General Surgery University of Mumbai, India.
