Qualifications
Academic Background:
Mr McCormick qualified from Southampton University in 2001. He completed his specialist training through the Oxford deanery in 2015, and has a substantive post as an NHS consultant in Milton Keynes University Hospital.He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree (DPhil) through Brasenose college, Oxford, which was funded through being awarded multiple research fellowships. He spent a number of years undertaking an academic surgical programme in cancer research. He was given a years' teaching fellowship in undergraduate medicine tuition for Oxford's Brasenose and Pembroke college students, and continues to provide teaching for the university of Buckingham medical students today.
