Mr Harrison Benziger

Mr Harrison Benziger qualified from the Trivandrum University Medical College in Kerala, India in 1974. He moved to the UK to complete his higher surgical training in South East England and South Wales. During his training, he trained in advanced and sophisticated gastrointestinal surgery, including laparoscopic surgery. Harrison developed a specialist interest in deep pelvic colorectal resections, inflammatory bowel disease and laparoscopic benign upper gastrointestinal surgery. This includes gallbladder surgery, anti-reflux surgery and hiatus hernia.

Upon completion of his surgical training, in 1983 Harrison was appointed locum Consultant Surgeon at Haverford West hospital in South Wales. Later, he was appointed as Consultant and Head of Department of Surgery at the Ministry of Health hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Harrison then returned to the UK, where he was appointed as a locum Consultant Surgeon at Bangor General hospital in Wales and at the Homerton General Hospital in London. Currently, he is a Consultant General Surgeon at QEQM Hospital in Margate.

Harrison is vastly experienced in his field and he is known for excellent outcomes in his procedures.
