Mr Ganesh Devarajan

Mr Devarajan's undergraduate medical training was in Kerala, India. After MBBS he secured postgraduate Masters training in Trauma and Orthopaedics through the highly competitive All India entrance exam. He spent 2 years post training as a junior consultant in a sports medicine facility and was responsible for a wide variety of case load, including arthroscopies, Ilizarov fixators and trauma. He moved to the UK to furthur enhance his elective specialisation in Knees and Foot and Ankle work.

Post FRCS, Mr Devarajan trained first in Oswestry-Stoke and subsequently in the North west in Wrightington and Wigan, Royal Preston, Stepping Hill, Royal Blackburn and North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary to complete his specialist training in 2006 with FRCS in trauma and Orthopaedics. Mr Devarajan has developed a sub specialist interest in foot and ankle surgery and also completed a Fellowship in this and Adult Lower Limb Reconstructive surgery.

Mr Devarajan's current practice provides a comprehensive, evidence based complex fore foot and hind foot tertiary referral work in addition to routine Knee surgery including joint replacement and arthroscopic work. He is proficient in managing sports injuries to the ankle and foot and also undertakes advanced minimally invasive surgery of the foot and ankle, Ankle joint replacement's, and is a key opinion maker in this field.
