Very clear regarding options available with my issue and understanding
Mr Dickson was excellent. His communication was very clear and reassuring. He went into exactly the right level of detail. My operation went exactly as planned and the follow up care was also fantastic.
My experience with Mr Dickson was very positive I found him to be very empathetic, sensitive to my concerns and not only listened but communicated very clearly in a way that was both informative and reassuring. At a time of heightened anxiety it was very reassuring to be seen such a first class consultant.
Mr Dickson is an excellent doctor who I’ve seen three times now. Initially for a pancreas issue and later for a gallbladder and nuclear gastro test after my two Gastro doctors could offer me no further solutions. My nuclear test showed I have slowed stomach emptying which may help my daily symptoms after five years. I have seen many doctors over the past five years and always felt nervous and rushed. Mr Dickson encouraged me to take my time and listened to everything I had to say which made my overall experience so much better. If you have the fortune to be treated by him you will be in very good hands and will feel all the better for it.
I was put at ease straight away. Everything was explained in as much detail as needed. All questions answered. 5stars.
Euan put me at ease straight away. He listened to my symptoms (and fears) empathetically, whilst guiding the consultation expertly, to extract the important information. He clearly explained what might be going on and came up with an action plan, which was very reassuring. I really felt he was ‘seeing’ me as a whole person and not just my symptoms. I would have no hesitation in recommending a consultation with Euan, if you have any symptoms in his field of expertise.
I found Mr Dickson to be professional and empathetic. He made me feel instantly at ease and took care to alleviate concerns that I had.
I had a laparoscopic Cholecystectomy carried our recently at Rosshall hospital under the care of Mr Dickson my experience was very positive. Every investigation scans and blood tests were carried out quickly with the results explained to me fully and treatment options discussed with out pressure to choose the surgical pathway. My admission, surgery and discharge all went well with every staff member being friendly, helpful and compassionate. My recovery has been uneventful and I am now ready to return to work. I I cannot recommend Mr Dickson highly enough. He made me feel safe and listened to my concerns with every interaction. I can honestly say the team at Rosshall and Braehead whether that is Nurses, care assistants, catering, theatre staff , imaging or admin staff are a credit to the hospital.
Dr Dickson was very informative and understanding. Not received treatment yet but have been given options & plans.
Very professional, knowledgeable and clear communicator.
