Mr Ehab Kelada

I saw Mr Kelada after being diagnosed with a large ovarian endometrioma through the NHS, which I was keen to have treated as soon as possible. I ultimately had laparoscopic surgery with him less than three months after my initial consultation. From the very first appointment, he was kind, reassuring and extremely thorough in explaining my options, including the risks of surgery and the possible impact on my future fertility. What I particularly appreciated was that he understood both my immediate concern (treating the endometrioma safely and promptly) and my wish to preserve my fertility as much as possible. I always felt listened to, well informed and in very safe hands. My experience with him, from consultation through to surgery, was excellent and I would highly recommend him to women going through a similar experience.

Mr Kelada made me feel at ease the moment I met him. He did not rush, took time to chat about my past medical history and present issues whilst noting down the necessary medical information. His personal manner is exceptional, he made me feel so reassured and listened to. He was able to talk through a plan of action, explaining the investigative work he was going to carry out and the reasons for doing it. I had a follow up appointment in which he explained the results clearly and with such detail I totally understood. At both appointments I felt so well looked after by Mr Kelada, he is in my opinion an exceptional consultant with superb knowledge in his field of medicine.

Mr Kelada is an excellent consultant, takes time to explain everything in depth and listens to your concerns, finding the best course of treatment. Also an excellent surgeon. If I'd need to have an operation in a future again, I wouldn't want anyone else.

I can’t thank Dr Kelada enough. I saw another specialist before him and got nowhere. I was ready to give up. Dr Kelada assessed me properly, explained the way forward, and suggested a treatment plan that genuinely changed my life. I got my life back because of him. His bedside manner is wonderful, he listens, he cares, and he makes you feel safe. I trust him completely and I’m so thankful for everything he’s done!
