Mr Ciaran Keen is a specialist Osteopath with a keen interest in integrated care and sporting injuries. He graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 2014 with an integrated master's degree in Osteopathy.
Ciaran has gained extensive clinical experience working across various environments, including the NHS, Brunel University's sports department, and private practice. He has a strong passion for sports and believes in the power of exercise in helping patients heal themselves with the right guidance. Ciaran employs a range of structural techniques, such as joint manipulation and soft tissue massage, to address musculoskeletal issues.
With previous coaching experience in cross fit and Olympic weightlifting, Ciaran is comfortable both in a gym setting and a clinical room. He emphasises the importance of maintaining a wide range of physical activities and believes that there is no bad way to exercise.
Ciaran's clinical focus lies in spinal pain, recognising that many people experience debilitating difficulties in this area. He has a particular interest in the lumbar spine and hip/groin. Ciaran strives to incorporate exercise advice into all of his treatments, as he strongly believes that this is crucial for long-term health and performance.
Outside of his clinical work, Ciaran is actively engaged in training for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and bouldering. He aims to further develop his involvement in sports and employee wellness in the future.
