About Dr Christopher Lee

Mr Christopher Lee is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a specialist interest in minimal access surgery, who works both in the NHS and privately. He has particular interests in teaching and training in all areas of benign gynaecology, in particular he is an expert in the treatment of endometriosis.

Chris trained and qualified at Imperial College London and subsequently undertook his specialist training in London, with five years spent at King's College Hospital prior to taking up a consultant post. This included a two-year fellowship in gynaecological ultrasound. In 2007, he undertook a mini fellowship at the Gynaecology Centre for Endometriosis in Villach, Austria in order to obtain more in depth training in advanced surgical techniques for the laparoscopic excision of endometriosis.

Chris is actively involved in the teaching and training of visiting surgeons from within the UK and abroad.  He also regularly lectures on gynaecological surgical techniques and has published widely across the full scope of his practice.

Christopher is an International Trainer at several surgical training facilities, where his work is focused on providing training to both aspiring and established minimal access surgeons in a broad spectrum of the most advanced laparoscopic techniques.

My experience with Christopher Lee has good right from the very first appointment. I felt immediately comfortable talking to and being examined by by Christopher Lee, which is a miracle for me. On the day of surgery he came into the room and reassured me that the treatment I was about to have was the correct treatment and it was definitely the right time to do it having done his homework of my previous NHS files. This was very reassuring. After the surgery he came to see me and made sure I was ok and confirmed everything had gone well and reiterated that I will definitely be better off having had the surgery. Again, very reassuring. All in all I'm glad I chose Christopher to do the surgery. He's very nice, easy to communicate with, and reassuring, and the surgery itself seems to have been done well. I would definitely recommend Christopher Lee to anyone who might need his services.

I am extremely grateful to have been under the care of Dr Chris Lee at The Slone hospital. He has been professional, understanding, and reassuring throughout the year I have been treated by him for endometriosis. Following my laparoscopic procedure, Dr Lee took the time to show me the photos of his findings and explain them in detail. He was attentive, listened carefully, always mindful of how important my fertility is to me. I had extensive endometriosis and with Dr Chris Lee's guidance, I now have a clear long term plan to manage this going forward. His compassion and expertise have made a very difficult journey much easier, and I am truly grateful.

Dr. Lee listened attentively and understood when I was telling him my symptoms. I had a laparoscopy and Dr. Lee found the issue. He was amazing all throughout.
