What can I say! This whole experience from interacting with Mr Hemmerdinger's PA down to the speed and pace of the ability to receive an appointment is staggering. At my Consultation, Mr Hemmerdinger and his Team immediately made me feel at ease and was very thorough, very easy to make you feel comfortable enough to discuss in detail any concerns. Was very compassionate, understanding and immediately made you feel at ease - I walked out of the initial consultation with 100% belief and trust in him. He is funny, kind and very very impressive, as was Claire his assistant. Mr Hemmerdinger leaves no stone unturned - he gives you the confidence that you are in the best possible hands you could ever be. Mr Hemmerdinger is quite exceptional and has made my treatment and surgery bearable despite difficulties. He takes the case extremely seriously and I have total confidence in him on all counts. I am so grateful to him for my treatment and the outcome. I recommend him to all my friends.

I am most grateful to Mr Hemmerdinger for removing an impact cataract from my left eye, a result of an extremely traumatic incident in my childhood. As a result of the trauma I was totally phobic about my eyes. Mr Hemmerdinger's manner and explanation of the procedure enabled me to have the process done under local anaesthetic, which given that I find putting in eye drops a challenge, was an awesome achievement on his part. I am writing this report one week post surgery, even on my old glasses prescription the difference to my sight is amazing and although I thought it was good on day one it still continues to incrementally improve as the days go by. The surgery is going to make a huge difference to my recreational and working life,

Mr Hemmerdinger has been my consultant ophthalmologist for 5 years previously I saw him with my father at Warrington General Hospital before he left Warrington to take up another post at Macclesfield . I have glaucoma Mr Hemmerdinger is very thorough when examining my eyes and explains carefully what he is doing, what his findings are and how he proposes to deal with the problem and giving a detailed explanation of the various options. Previously I have seen a number of ophthalmologists at Warrington Hospital and I have not been satisfied with the consistency of advice and help that is why I chose to see Mr Hemmerdinger privately so that I would always see the same consultant and that I would receive excellent service and advice.

Mr Hemmerdinger has a wonderful caring manner and made me feel comfortable and safe from the first time that I met him. He explained everything that I needed to know in a way that I was totally able to understand and appreciated my concerns and worries, which he was able to dispel. I therefore felt at ease and had confidence in his ability to look after me.

I cannot recommend Mr Hemmerdinger highly enough. The online consultation process was simple, easy to follow and eased my concerns during this lockdown period. Chris gave me support and guidance and as always, gave me reassurance through the whole process.
