Mr Andrew’s was a professional surgeon. He was fantastic from our first appointment and explained the procedure in detail, the operation was carried out 9 days ago and the results have been incredible. I cannot recommend highly enough and would like to thank him Regards DH
I cannot recommend Mr Andrews highly enough. He guided me through my ACL and MCL injury with exceptional care and professionalism from start to finish. Across three appointments—from my initial assessment, to reviewing my MRI results and discussing treatment options, through to my post-recovery check-in—he provided clear, thorough explanations and made sure I fully understood my injury, the recovery process, and the next steps at every stage. He has an excellent way of communicating complex information in a way that is reassuring and easy to understand, while also being genuinely personable and approachable. Additionally, I am very grateful for his physiotherapist referral. I would never have found her without his recommendation, and together they have been instrumental in my recovery. Their expertise and coordinated approach have been the biggest reasons I’ve been able to recover so well and much more quickly than I expected. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received from Mr Andrews and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone needing orthopaedic care.
I had the best experience with Dr Andrews and the whole team! I was in a bit of a sticky situation with only having exactly 6 months until my wedding and the team went above and beyond to schedule me in so I would have enough time to heal to walk down the aisle. I was back dancing in my highest heels 6 month post op and my knee is incredibly stable now. I'm fully discharged now and back to doing Yoga! I'm so happy with my results and can't thank Dr Andrew and the team enough!
Appointments felt slightly rushed - they were shortened into 5-10 minutes which, given the cost of the consultation, felt like I wasn't getting much from them. I'd have appreciated more time discussing what I can and can't do. Furthermore I think there were some things that simply didn't need an appointment, when it seemed clear Barry already knew the outcome but we had to go through the process of several appointments to get there, which again contributed to me feeling like it wasn't worth the cost.
Mr Andrews provided a super helpful second opinion, shedding light on what was really wrong with my knee, thus also providing a clear plan for recovery and reducing worrying. Very efficient process. Highly recommended, thank you
After a horrible ski accident and being told by a different doctor that I may not walk again without a limp, I contacted Barry Andrews. I had a thorough consultation with him and surgery a week later. He had me up and walking the next day. My recovery has been smooth, my knee is stable and I couldn’t be more pleased and grateful.
Mr Andrews is an excellent surgeon with the upmost respect and care for his patience. I found him to be polite, courteous and caring throughout the time of my consultations, surgery and aftercare. All procedures and outcomes were explained to me with clarity and options/ time given for me to ask questions. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Andrews to any patient with Orthopaedic issues.
Great experience overall. Nice, listens and explains clearly.
