About Mr Andre Litwin
Andre is one of the UK's leading eye and eyelid surgeons in the UK with over 20 years of experience. In 2013 he was appointed a Consultant at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. There he continues to manage complex eye, eyelid, tear duct and orbital disease in patients from all over the UK and beyond. Andre graduated from the
University of Southampton and trained in Ophthalmology across London and for
several years at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. He undertook two
Fellowships in oculoplastic and orbital disease before becoming a Consultant.
Andre graduated from the University of Southampton and trained in Ophthalmology in the UK. His first surgical training posts were in London before completing his higher training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. Following this Andre undertook two Fellowships in Oculoplastic and Orbital disease before joining the GMC’s Specialist Register in 2012 and becoming a Consultant in 2013.
Andre has over 20 years of experience and also holds a NHS post at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust which is a specialist referral centre for complex Oculoplastic care. He is frequently called upon by colleagues to undertake revision eyelid surgery to help address problems that people have had with eyelid surgery elsewhere.
Andre is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) and a full Member of both the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society (BOPSS) and European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS).
Andre has an excellent reputation for great patient care, straightforward explanations, professionalism and surgical outcomes, and prides himself on ‘always taking the time to listen to patient needs’.

My Blepharoplasty with Andre Litwin was hugely successful & I am extremely happy with the results. I was looking old & tired with my eyelids drooping. My friends & family comment on how young & fresh I now look. The redness has completely disappeared & the scar is almost invisible. The whole process from booking, finance, surgery & aftercare was very easy & went smoothly. I would highly recommend Blepharoplasty with Andre. It’s definitely the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. It was a quick procedure & with no general anaesthetic, making it more financially viable & with less possible side effects. I had my procedure at the McIndoe centre which had easy, free parking, wonderful friendly staff & was very clean with a welcoming atmosphere.

As previously expressed, Mr Andre Litwin carried out cataract operations to both eyes. The improvement in my eye sight exceeded my expectations and I am so impressed with the expertise of Mr Litwin that I have no hesitation in giving him my highest recommendation. The friendliness and support of his team were no less commendable which totally justified my faith in having the operations undertaken at the Nuffield Brighton Hospital. I would mention that the procedures were performed with my use of a VPAP ventilation machine which did not daunt Mr Litwin in any way.
