Mr Alan Middleton

Mr Middleton underwent specialist training in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery in the North East of England and gained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008. He completed fellowship training in Hand and Wrist surgery in Leeds. He has been practising as a Consultant Hand & Wrist Surgeon since 2008.

He has a keen interest in training and is Chair of the Specialist Training Committee for Trauma & Orthopaedics for Health Education England North East.

He is Director for Orthopaedic Surgery at North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and Vice President of the British Orthopaedic Directors Society.

He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
