Mr Ahmad Ali

Mr Ahmad Ali is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon based in North East London and Essex, with a specialist focus on complex knee pathology and sports-related injuries. His clinical practice covers the full spectrum of knee surgery, including computer-navigated (guided) total and partial knee replacement, arthroscopic knee procedures, and multi-ligament reconstruction.

Mr Ali completed his orthopaedic training in Oxford and Sheffield before undertaking higher surgical training within the North West Deanery. He subsequently completed a dedicated knee fellowship, during which he further developed advanced expertise in complex knee reconstruction, including revision procedures and multi-ligament injury management.

His clinical and academic interests are centred on improving outcomes in knee surgery, with a focus on evidence-based techniques in both joint preservation and joint replacement. He has developed significant experience in managing high-demand patients, particularly those with sports injuries requiring specialised surgical intervention and rehabilitation strategies.

Mr Ali is a founding member of the Essex Knee Group, a collaborative network of specialist knee surgeons. The group facilitates regular case discussion, audit, and outcome review, supporting continuous improvement in clinical practice and promoting the adoption of best practice standards across the region.
