Mr Okaro met me before my surgery, explained the procedure and put me at ease on the day of surgery. He came to see me afterwards to check I was comfortable. I have nothing but praise for Mr Okaro's care.
Mr Okaro was very down to earth in the pre op. He spoke to me on the level and made me feel comfortable. He had a bubbly relaxed way about him that made me feel less rushed and he didn’t seem pushy. I did not get much of an opportunity to see him after surgery but he popped in to check I was ok when my bloods went low and I appreciated that. The surgery went well and so far all seems to be healing great. Thank you so much!
My only reason for not giving full marks is that I felt more conversation and feedback about my procedure would have been appreciated, I had to ask if everything went to plan and was ok. I think he assumed I knew, and he had no concerns so didn’t explain more than that.
A day case turned into a two night stay, but was well looked after.
Overall a good experience Mr Okaro was great but discharge could have been better .
