Dr Morag McMaster

Dr Morag McMaster is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and General Internal Medicine specialist. She earned her medical degree from the University of Glasgow in 2007 and subsequently completed her comprehensive general medical and higher specialist training within the West of Scotland. Since becoming a Consultant, she has focused on delivering high-quality care for a broad spectrum of digestive health issues.

While she maintains a busy general practice and has developed a particular clinical interest in the management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. She also provides specialist assessment and treatment for a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including dyspepsia (indigestion), irritable bowel syndrome, gastroparesis, liver disease, coeliac disease, anaemia, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, and constipation.

Dr McMaster is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and an active member of the British Society of Gastroenterology. She is noted for her patient-centred approach to medicine. She is committed to empowering patients through a clear understanding of their condition, working collaboratively with them to establish an accurate diagnosis and develop personalised treatment plans that reflect their individual needs and priorities. She welcomes patients aged 16 and over for specialist consultation.
