Dr Mahesh has been exceptional since I was referred to him with gastro-intestinal problems. His duty of care to his patients is second to none. He ensured that I understood everything about my care, explained next steps, benefits and potential risks so I was able to make an informed decision about my own care. He ensured that nothing was missed out, scheduling both a Gastroscopy and CT Scan for me which saved my life as the CT Scan showed a perforated appendix which the NHS had missed. All the NHS had done was feel my tummy, and ask for a stool sample which came back normal so I was discharged. Had I not had the CT scan, I might not be writing this today. It is through Dr Mahesh that I was warded into Salford Royal for my perforated appendix and although it was not removed first time, at least it set the wheels in motion for its eventual removal two months later when the pain started again as it was correctly diagnosed. Dr Mahesh made the effort to contact me after my first hospitalisation to follow up which I appreciate.

I found Dr Mahesh very helpful, even in a busy clinic. He listened to be and asked open questions. I had written a long list of my issues, he took time to review all these and focused on what matters the most. He explained about gut-brain axis and microbiota, opened me to a new world of information which helped me really understand my symptoms, which was rubbished by my GP and many other specialists saying 'its all in my mind'. I would recommend all my friends and family to consult Dr Mahesh, as he strives to provide the best for you.
