Dr Mokhtar Isaac

Dr Mokhtar Isaac is a UK-trained Consultant Psychiatrist.

Dr Isaac adopts a person-centred and holistic approach with values of respect, ensuring the privacy and dignity of their patients. They work with patients, their carers and other professionals to deliver the best care for patients to enable them to achieve a better quality of life using biological, psychological and social interventions in a bio-psycho-social model of care.

Dr Isaac has published papers on Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease and the prevention of suicide. They are involved in an active research programme.

Dr Isaac holds an academic appointment as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS). They have taught modules organised by the postgraduate institute and in local academic programmes. They are part of the group organising and delivering the Sussex MRCPsych Part I and Part II Course.
