Dr Mohan Gondhalekar

Dr. Mohan Gondhalekar is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist. He graduated with an MBChB and a BMedSci from the esteemed University of Birmingham Medical School in 2011, laying a solid foundation for his medical career.

His pursuit of excellence continued with Postgraduate Core Psychiatry and Dual Higher Specialist Training at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, as well as Essex University Partnership NHS Trust. This comprehensive training provided him with a diverse range of skills and expertise.

In 2016, Dr. Gondhalekar achieved Full Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych), a testament to his dedication and proficiency in the field. His journey through various mental health sub-specialities has enriched his knowledge and understanding.

A significant milestone was reached in 2020 when he earned his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCT) in General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry. Dr. Gondhalekar's commitment to the advancement of psychiatry is evident in his role as a Clinical Fellow at the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Centre for Quality Improvement in London for five years.

He has been actively contributing to the field as a member of the National ECT Accreditation Committee and serving as an External Clinical Advisor for Mental Health at the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsmen. Currently, Dr. Gondhalekar holds the position of Consultant Psychiatrist at the North-East London Foundation NHS Trust within Community Old Age Psychiatry.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Gondhalekar has been involved in academic activities, serving as an Academic Tutor at the University of Birmingham, School of Medicine. His dedication to education extends to supervising Medical Students in their 3rd, 4th, and 5th years.
