Mr Mohamed Mohamed is a consultant spinal surgeon skilled in treating a wide range of spinal conditions in both adults and children. His practice includes advanced corrective surgeries for scoliosis, kyphosis, and other spinal deformities, alongside minimally invasive procedures for degenerative disc disease, spinal trauma, and chronic pain conditions. He is particularly skilled in treating complex cases, providing patient-centred care that focuses on safety, precision, and a smooth recovery.
Graduating in 2010 from the University of Leicester, following his foundation training in medicine, Mr Mohamed then went onto complete his trauma and orthopaedic training in the Merseyside rotation, specialising in spinal surgery. Mr Mohamed’s approach is grounded in compassion and respect, tailoring each treatment plan to meet the individual needs of his patients. He takes pride in fostering trusting relationships, ensuring patients feel supported. Mr Mohamed performed lumbar decompression at L3/4 and L4/5 in June ‘26 and I left hospital after a 1 night stay completely rid of the sciatic pain I’d had for 9 months. I am still pain-free and back to all normal activities, including exercise after 10 weeks. Mr Mohamed explained clearly what the procedure involved and what the post-surgery journey would look like and I’m so happy and grateful to have such a good outcome.
Mr Mohamed was in our view the best we have seen he explained everything clearly which has now given us greater confidence
A truly knowledgeable, professional and courteous interaction.
Lovely man and was supportive throughout I had my spinal surgery whilst I was awake and felt nothing
From the first consultation Mr Mohammad explained everything clearly and knew he would get rid of my pain, which he has done. Amazing consultant, surgeon and person. I cannot thank him enough for my treatment. A wonderful man.
This was a follow up appointment after a procedure to relieve back pain. Dr. Mohamed was very polite & respectful without being standoffish! V. Professional, friendly & clear. My procedure proved very satisfactory, evidence that he’s good at his job too!!
I couldn’t be more pleased! Mr Mohamed has been amazing. So warm welcoming down to earth. This surgery has given me my life back. I am amazed how quickly I have recovered. I can’t thank him enough. I would highly recommend him and all the team at Spire. Thank you all so very much.
I’m not exaggerating when I say Mr Mohammed gave me my life back! After struggling with quite a severe herniated disc, he saw me quickly and was able to successfully operate! Before my operation I could hardly walk. I wasn’t sleeping and I was in a very dark place! Mr Mohammed was so kind and welcoming and you can tell he cares deeply about his patients! Thank you for helping me walk again!
A diligent clinician, makes good decisions and has good outcomes following surgery.
