I was told about every step of the way, the operation in its self was comfortable, I was given written and verbal instructions for when I got home, my recovery was absolutely fine, I can see to drive now without the glasses I had to have at the age of 20, I am now 67! It’s really wonderful, Mr Jain was really helpful on my follow up appointment answering all the questions I had.

On March 2026, My optician advised that I required surgery to remove cataracts from both eyes as soon as possible, therefore I elected to go private to avoid long wait times on the NHS. I chose Mr Jain initially based on his experience in performing complex cataract procedures, but after meeting him in person, I was extremely happy with my decision. I was very nervous about the surgery but Mr Jain answered all my questions and his calm and reassuring manner put me at ease. Following an examination, Mr Jain recommended different types of lenses for each eye and explained the reasons clearly. The surgery at Frimley Park was more ‘intense’ than I anticipated but again I was put at ease and both procedures went well. Mr Jain called me after the operation, and I have had follow up checks to ensure that my recovery was going well. I have followed the strict regime of Post-Op eye drops and I now have good vision in both eyes, no aid required anymore for long distances or driving; just reading glasses for short distances. Overall I would happily recommend Mr Jain to anyone for any eye procedure; he is not only a skilled consultant but also a very nice person to talk to and really looks after you throughout the process.

I have had exceptional treatment for glaucoma and cataract from Mr Jain. The surgery was very successful with vision back to normal almost instantly and the stents for raised pressure have been most effective. He continues to monitor me and I highly recommend him to all patients who need eye surgery.

I was very nervous at the thought of my cataract procedures but found Mr Jain most understanding putting me at ease throughout both ops. He has an excellent 'bedside manner' and I was completely put at ease.

Mr Jain performed iStent and cataract surgery, in the same eye at the same time. His pre and post operation care is thorough and professional. The surgery was successful and I felt he put the patient’s needs first.
